‘‘My wife and I started out as volunteers repairing roofs for families devastated by Hurricane Katrina back in 2005. Being able to give that peace of mind to worried parents and primary bread-winners made me appreciate the quality roof I had over my family’s head every night. That's the type of roof I will put over your head.
Obviously, I didn’t start SCRS right away. In a nutshell, this is how it all started:
How did I get into in the commercial and residential roofing industry?
I had already been in the construction industry since the year 2000. After volunteering in the hurricane Katrina relief efforts, I enjoyed doing residential roofs so I started installing residential roof shingles.
Everything was going fine until, while working for a big roofing company, I was disgusted by the fraud and crookedness I saw!
You know what I’m talking about.
Rejecting the greed and lies in the roofing industry
I was doing the heavy lifting for a large prestigious roofing and construction company with fancy marketing and big promises.
We’ve all been there before.
I would genuinely sell clients on a quality roof but other guys I worked with would look for loopholes to substitute for cheap, low-durability materials and do a botched job without the clients noticing. It made my skin crawl. So I left.

At this point, you realize why I started my own roofing company, right?
I just couldn’t stomach looking like a liar in the eyes of the hardworking parents and new homeowners all because of the filthy greed of the roofing company I worked for.
Hence, I began as a roofer in St. Louis, unshackled by corporate lies and able to give a quality service I could proudly stand by. Naturally, my clients enthusiastically stated referring me to their friends and family.
Fast-forward to today. Now, I am able to guarantee the roofing systems and materials I use on your home and business are the best for the job and are backed by a 50-year warranty. And to this day, I have stood by my work. I don’t believe in using low-quality materials or cutting corners.
When your roof is damaged by hail or a storm, I know how to negotiate with your insurance to get better coverage and ensure a good quality roof goes back on.
